# Text

The **Text Field** feature allows you to create and manage rich text fields for use across reports. This is intended for informational purposes and is used to display text content within different report templates.

The text field is a general-purpose field that can be added to any report. It is mainly used to display static information such as descriptions, notes, or any other relevant content that is not subject to conditions.

### Get Started

To begin, go to the Portal and navigate to **Fields > Text** on sidebar. Open the Add New panel to start creating. You will be asked to enter Field Name as a unique identifier for the text field, and a text editor to fill your content. Take note that you also can add images and other kind of content to the editor.

The Field Name should be unique. If you have a text named **"Text Field 1"**, please use another name or update to other identifier.
